Hi everyone! I just wanted to share with you some photos of me and my cutest dog in the world, Dexter! (aka Falkor! Because he looks like the luck dragon from the never ending story hahaha) He was of course my boyfriend Scott's dog before I came along, but I love him so much! He loves people, loves attention, is super cute (sounds like me... :P) and makes me so happy! Just another reason why life is so much better these days!

Anyways, on to the outfit! I picked up the coat and the dress on a recent shopping spree at the swapmeet. I love the swapmeet (no... not the big Pasadena Rosebowl one, but I love that one for different reasons). I love digging through clothes and finding treasures. And when it's based in a city or area that either people are "too good" to go, or never think of going, there is not much competition....hehehehe. So most of the time, I just sift through random piles and happen upon a lot of cool stuff! The dress and the coat being some of those things. Although, I really didn't think much of either of the pieces when I found them... just that they were cute colors, looked vintage and would fit me. But when I tried them on at home, I was so pleasantly surprised!

This last time I went to the swapmeet, I found one vendor who had SO MUCH cute stuff! Like all these vintage pinks, creams and pastels. I saw it from afar.... As I got closer, I also saw a girl plopped down at the pile of clothes already sorting things (in a calm manner). I rushed over there to see this really cute japanese couple (like they looked like they were fashionistas from Japan. No lie!), and when they saw me they scrambled to just get everything. There was a bunch of stuff on a rack and I (foolishly) was going through it slowly...unaware that this was some sort of battle... And the girl starts just pulling things without looking at them! In the end, I ended up with about 5 things from that place costing about 9$. Where as, they took the whole place for about 80$... I still can't live it down >.> Sigh...
